Multi-Use Sports Field, San Francisco State University
Abey Arnold Associates served as the lead consultant for the design of multi-use synthetic turf field and outdoor plaza and guided the University in the decision making process by performing extensive cost control studies. The project included field lighting, storage and restroom buildings, and integrated bioswales. We provided grading studies and assisted in developing specifications that used concrete from demolished on-site buildings as base material for the field, significantly reducing costs and environmental impacts from hauling and landfilling construction waste.
